Noël Payne joined Laserfiche as the Software Marketing Associate for K-12 education, a role that is well suited for her background in academic research and entertainment marketing and communications. Since joining Laserfiche in 1989, Karl Chan has been a driving force in the company’s software development. He held a variety of technology leadership roles before being named Chief Technology Officer in 2005 and President in 2014. In 2015, Karl received a CTO Lifetime Achievement Award from the Los Angeles Business Journal for his creativity, leadership and vision in creating innovative technology solutions for Laserfiche and its customers.
Cosette Dwyer is a Technical Product Manager focused on helping automate customer’s repetitive tasks. She is currently driving efforts on our new Robot Process Automation feature. She looks forward to sharing our plan for RPA and learning how it can help attendees with their processes. Tricia Swift, Senior Software Engineer in Test started with Laserfiche in 2017. She started with the Laserfiche Mobile team and is currently working on the Content Service, Web Team focusing on Web Client. She has been in Software Quality Assurance and Testing for over 17 years. Prior to Laserfiche worked with Open Text on the Right Fax platform and Ventana Medical System (Roche) on the Nexus platform. Tricia graduated from the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems.
Yin is the technical product manager for the workflow team at Laserfiche. Her day to day includes figuring out what brings the most value for the workflow product and making sure that vision is realized. Outside of Laserfiche, she enjoys rock climbing, hiking, yoga, baking, cooking, and playing with other people’s dogs.
Hedy Belttary, Senior Vice President of Sales, has an extensive history with Laserfiche. As Director of Government Sales, Director of Business Development and Vice President of Vertical Marketing, she worked closely with Laserfiche founder Nien-Ling Wacker to standardize and spread a marketing and sales model that emphasizes in-person education, peer-to-peer training, vendor partnerships and a widespread reseller channel. This hallmark strategy has helped make Laserfiche a global leader in the ECM industry. With her unique experience as both a Laserfiche executive and a Laserfiche VAR, Hedy now focuses on strengthening the relationship between Laserfiche and the VAR channel to grow sales opportunities.
Jared started at Laserfiche over three years ago after graduating from UCLA. After initially working on the web team doing product testing for the web client, WebLink and Audit Trail, he moved into a technical product management role for the Forms team last March. At Empower 2018, Jared is most looking forward to hearing constructive user feedback and feature requests to incorporate into the Forms product roadmap.
Thomas Phelps IV is the Vice President of Corporate Strategy & CIO at Laserfiche. Thomas is currently responsible for corporate strategy, vertical marketing, analyst relations, corporate training and enterprise IT governance. Previously, Thomas was the national entertainment and media champion for cybersecurity at PwC. He led C-level relationships with clients and served as the Advisory Services leader for two Fortune 500 companies.
Melissa Henley, Director of Marketing Communications at Laserfiche, oversees corporate marketing communications initiatives. Melissa, who joined Laserfiche in 2007, has nearly 20 years’ experience driving strategic marketing plans for leading software, financial services and educational organizations. She is a frequent speaker at industry events, user groups and webinars on topics including change management, presentation techniques and other management skills. Melissa is a member of the International Institute of Municipal Clerks (IIMC) Foundation Board of Directors, where she serves as chair of the Marketing Committee.
Anita is a presales engineer in Long Beach, where she helps customers envision how they can improve their existing business processes. You can also find her at user and VAR trainings, sharing product knowledge and her love for all things Laserfiche.
Brandon has been at Laserfiche since 2015. He is involved with product marketing, product strategy, and is the project manager of the Business Process Library. He is looking forward to sharing how the Business Process Library can help attendees speed up their process automation efforts.
Brian has been with Laserfiche since 1998 and has been working on web applications for most of that time. He enjoys using technology to make our users’ jobs easier. He is excited for his 16th conference!
Brianna has been a software tester at Laserfiche for five years. In this time, she has worked on 7 products, including Web Access, Laserfiche Directory Server, and Laserfiche Cloud. She loves meeting customers at the conference, especially when she is backing up beginner labs and teaching advanced courses!
Having worked for Laserfiche for 8 months as an account manager, speaking with clients about how Laserfiche has eased their day-to-day workload and increased their efficiency makes it exciting for Christian to go to work everyday.
Katie Gaston leads the daily operations for the Laserfiche Cloud program. With a tenured career history in software-as-a-service, she is passionate about helping to build cloud-based software Laserfiche customers love to use.
Misty, who has been a technical writer at Laserfiche for 10 years, writes documentation and creates tutorial videos for a variety of Laserfiche products. She is currently working on training materials for the Laserfiche app and Quick Fields.
With Laserfiche since early this century, Miruna has served as Principal Software Test Engineer and Senior Product Manager developing core Laserfiche products. She is actively involved in Laserfiche’s cloud and business process teams, managing the developers and features to ensure the highest quality products.
